Ball Joint - Upper & Lower
Precision ball joints: Fit 1994-Current
- Developed due to finding many low mileage Vipers with excessive looseness and wear in their original suspension ball joints.
- Zero stiction. Improves ride quality and handling by removing the resistance to suspension movement found in stock joints.
- No internal plastic or rubber parts that wear and cause unwanted tolerance.
- Ball and stud are one machined piece
- Rebuildable when damaged by collision, pins/studs can be replaced.

Details
These ball joints were developed after years of looking for a suitable replacement for stock ball joints. We felt that stock ball joints were insufficient on a race car because stock joints have inconsistent build quality, lose tolerance very quickly, and carry static friction loads (stiction) that are counterproductive to suspension movement. Spherical bearings or monoballs are an alternative in a race car, but are very expensive. These apply to both our race and street cars.
These ball joints make a difference in ride quality as the “stiction” loads carried in stock ball joints contribute to a bumpy ride. More importantly the lack of “stiction” in our ball joints allows for efficient suspension movement to allow the tire to follow the road surface, thus improve lap times.

Call us for different stud lengths if you are changing your roll center. We will also install the ball joints.
